Description

The GPC Proximal Femoral Nail (PFN) is used for stable and unstable intertrochanteric fractures. They are available in stainless steel and titanium. Standard PFN available in length ranging from22-26cm(2cm increments) and diameter from 10-12mm(1mm increments).

  • Double neck screw nail, for increased strength
  • Mediolateral Angle of 6° in accordance with the entry point of the nail
  • Proximal screws inserted at neck shaft angle of 130 degrees
  • Proximal dia. 17 mm
  • Self tapping 6.5 mm Cannulated screw (most proximal screw) for rotation stability
  • Both the proximal screws- 6.5 mm, 7.5 mm feature insertion stop
  • Distal dia. 10, 11 or 12 mm, enable unreamed insertion
  • Static & dynamic distal locking options
  • Universal nail for right & left femur
  • Available in both titanium & stainless steel
